Many girls in India from poor communities do not have the opportunity to seek higher education. Manufacturing is a field that can provide them with successful careers. However, without the proper education, it is hard for them to find a job in manufacturing.
So, Procter and Gamble partnered with CCS to raise money for scholarships for these girls to get the education needed for a job in manufacturing.
Fewer than 1/3 of people in manufacturing are women. Venus Betiyan aims to support the education of women in underrepresented communities so that they can pursue careers in manufacturing. If you donate, you will be helping many women in India by empowering them to pursue careers in manufacturing.
